Oh how I hate..

Nacogdoches,Tx. I've ran here 4 times in the last couple of years. First time I slid to the wall on the first, 2nd wasn't much better, 3rd was ok. Second time I tried it my horse completely lost his rear end on the 3rd barrel and swapped directions in his fall..came up on top of the third barrel and then almost went over backwards trying to get off of it.
Soo earlier this year I decided to try my luck and enter the pro rodeo here, worst came to worst I now had a little horse who could stand up on anything I could ride. But ahh, someone got happy with the water truck and the ground was deep and just sucked you in. No problems with the ground besides that it was extremely slow.
So today at the RCA rodeo in the long go..ground looked good. I hustled him up the alley and as soon as he went to set to turn the first he started loosing his rear end. His rear end was going up the pen and his front end was trying to turn. I kept thinking wow this feels really weird, can't be good when WHAM his front end dissapeared. All 4 feet came out from under him. I came back up on top of him..but I was facing where I had just came into the first barrel at. This is only his 4th time in 6 years to fall so he was a little confused when he came back up and was on the wrong side of the barrel.
No more..I have tried my luck enough here.

Mount Pleasant,Tx

UPRA rodeo.. Ran there earlier this year and the ground was kind of deep, but pretty good. So I figured i'd enter this one there. Helps when they put some water on sandy ground. First two out did ok, after that it was bad. Of course I was 7th out. By the time I ran it was pretty dang deep. First barrel was ok, i'm use to him whipping back on the backside, this time I turned ahead of him since he got hung in the ground. Second barrel his rear end was sliding and his front end was scrambling..lovely. The third barrel was about like the 1st, I turned..then he turned. Was sitting 3rd when I left Thursday night, but i'm sure it's changed. Ahh the luck.
